HELLCAT PEDIGREE & PROFILE
The Pedigree
Hellcat is a chestnut filly foaled on 1 April 2023, by Mayson out of the Kodiak mare Vixen. She represents a sharp, speed-influenced pedigree with a strong record of precocity and toughness, particularly through her sire line.

She has already been to the racecourse on four occasions, placing twice, and has shown a straightforward attitude alongside a genuine willingness to compete. Those early runs have provided valuable experience and have confirmed her honest nature.

Hellcat is expected to be ready to return to the racecourse in approximately six weeks’ time under the Vesper Solis banner.

The Filly
By July Cup winner Mayson, a proven source of fast, durable sprinters, Hellcat is bred to be effective early and to thrive in competitive sprint company.
Mayson’s stock are well known for their speed, consistency, and soundness, with numerous winners at two and three.

Her dam, Vixen, was herself a winner and comes from a deep, high-quality female family that includes black-type performers and durable racehorses. This depth adds substance behind the speed and gives Hellcat the scope to continue progressing with racing.
Our Approach
Hellcat’s programme is being shaped around building on the experience she has already gained on the track. With four runs behind her and two placed efforts, the focus is on allowing her to strengthen while continuing to develop her confidence and racecraft ahead of her return to racing.

As with all Vesper Solis horses, our approach is patient and transparent, centred on clear communication and enjoying the journey properly - from preparation through to race days and future opportunities.
